There is really no excuse for this. And to continue to trot Maynard out. I'm just speechless. I've never resorted to hyperbole but this is Holmoe bad. Completely outplayed, schemed, coached, etc etc. All to a team with a horrible record and NO pac wins.

And wow, Bigelow gets a carry and WHAT happens? To all who continue to say how much more the coaches know than we do....?????????? Even these idiotic announcers know he needs carries. It's amazing what happens when you're home run threat gets the ball. It's unforgivable they havent given bigs the ball more...

Embarrassing.

Clearly you missed my post pointing out that Holmoe's 2000 was this bad. His 1998 team was slightly better.

Tedford has, in fact, reached Holmoe's level of suck. He might not have reached Holmoe's lowest level yet, but he is as bad as Holmoe was, no question.

I hate piling on, and I hate being negative...

...but this is one of the biggest most unforgivable things in my mind regarding Tedford. As a coach when you're in a slump of multiple games, sometimes you need to try different stuff/play different players. What's that saying- The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? This is what Ted is doing. Maynard, may have some good stat lines, but why cant Ted at least play Hinder or Bridg? Maybe the team reacts different to a new QB in the huddle? Maybe they inspire and lead better, and get more of the other players on the field? Maybe you try Bigs and Lasco as your two back set for a while? Maybe this lights a fire under your other RB's asses. But it's the inability to do this as a coach that I feel is a terrible terrible tragedy. For this Ted needs to go. Ted sold his soul to the Maynard/Allen duo, and we have all paid a very steep price as a fan base, and as a program for it.

Either he sold his soul or he was overcome by a powerful delusion re: playing Maynard the whole game, every game. Your post is a nice summary of the situation.
