After tonight's debacle, given that the Washington game is Friday at 6:00pm and there is virtually no parking available, I doubt there will be more than 25,000 for the game. Maybe Sandy will get the message, if she hasn't fired Tedford before then.

I'll be going. Some day we'll tell stories about this trainwreck.

As bummed as I am about the results on the field this year, I think you are underestimating the number. I am guessing 40k tix have been sold already? I think we get that many people to show at least.

Attendance will be fine. This is a hate game.

this game is a beating, not a hate game. Udub has now beat Furd and OSU, two teams Cal will never get near. I am going anyway, but Mrs. Furd doesn't have the stomach for slaughters.

We've had one sell out this year (pre collapse) so I'm going to guess that the weekday-rush hour game wont be full. This is a "hate" game for the die hard-forum fan, not the general Cal fan demographic.

IMO, they'll be plenty in attendance. I know a lot of Cal fans that are taking Friday off. Besides, b/c of the whole Tosh thing, there's a lot of interest in the game. The problem will be which Cal team shows up - the one that spanked ucla, or the one we've seen all season long. I think the later, but I hope for the former.

Taking Friday off for this product? Our victory over UCLA is only proof that sometimes, even a blind squirrel can find a nut.

I do not expect a large crowd. 6pm Friday game. Traffic and parking will be a mess. Casual fans have been abandoning ship for a while.

It could rain on Friday. That would reduce the crowd by a few thousand.

I'm there no question. I'm a fan, I hope you guys are fans, not the channel surfing nincompoop type of "sports afficianado." Hang out at the campus before, have cocktail there after, drop a little community coin, share some stories with new folks you meet. Geezus we have a long way to go as a fanbase.

I'm taking Friday off for it, just like I took Thursday off last year for USC. Hope the results are different but I'll just enjoy my day. Might wander around campus but I'm not taking a chance that I'll have to stay late at work or miss the beginning of the game due to traffic.

I think we'll max out in the low 40ks, and that it won't be until the 2nd quarter that people make it. This game was a logistical nightmare to start with and our most recent face plant will keep people away. Its probably our last chance at a home win in the Tedford era though.
