why do you feel the need to support some sort of further polarization? jesus we are less than 2 hours into it, gimme a break smh
I think that if you look at any perceived "haters" then you'll prob see a dislike for the hire but a willingness to give it a chance to work and be proven wrong
Agreed. It's become like politics. People now focus on their differences as opposed to their common goals.
We are all Cal fans here. I would like nothing more than for Cal to do amazing under Dykes, but I doubt it will. It's not like we're guaranteed a Rose Bowl if Peterson decided to come aboard either.
However, if CP didn't perform as well as hoped, I could understand Barbour's thinking in the hire. Now, if Dykes does not perform well, it's ALL on SB.
This is a risk. No doubt about it. I do not think this is going to end well, but I obviously, like everyone that feels that way, hope to be proven wrong.
Sigh, this is a huge letdown for me. I will get season tix, but no way are my friends and I going to pony up for ESL seats again. This year was basically a slap in the face to the fans. It was embarrassing to watch that product on the field. I am not getting fooled again. I will go to the games since I will always support the Bears, but there is no way I am spending thousands on tickets again until the ship is righted. If that makes me a fair weather fan, so be it.
