Lettuce does not belong in a burrito. Any place that does this loses points in my book.

Not sure about a burrito, because isn't that an American creation anyway (but yes, it still shouldn't be)? But definitely not in a taco. No shredded lettuce, sour cream or grated cheese should be in a taco. Just a warm tortilla, carne asada, diced onions, cilantro. Then add good dark roasted salsa, and some pickled radish, carrot, onion and/or peppers.

Go to El Castillito. Al Pastor all meat burrito. Best burrito I've ever had.

I'm no burrito expert but that's the only place in recent years that I've had a burrito. I can say they do put lettuce in their burritos but the ingredients are fresh (shrimp burrito is excellent) and the place is clean, some things that are extremely important to my SO.

Anybody remember a green-colored taqueira on the west side of Telgraph just below Durant?

It was open in the '90s.

I used to like that place.

I remember interviewing the owner about her business struggles.

It used to occupy this location, I believe.

Anbyody remember the name?

Yeah - I remember Zona Rosa. I was eating there when a panhandler came into the place and asked me for money. When I refused, I got yelled at because "I only want something to eat!!!"

Not my problem dude.
