I'd love to hear thoughts from those knowledgable about stem cells. Anyone (planning on) doing this for their (future) children?

I banked my kids' blood just in the minute chance they might need their stem cells down in the future for some ailment that might be treatable with stem cells. For athletic considerations, that's silly. They might as well just legalize steroids and epo.

Honestly though, I feel that banked blood should be of the public domain which could help the most people, not just for those who have the means to pay. But since this is america where it's every dollar for itself...
