"But if you're a Cal fan, there's not much to feel good about when you look at 2013. Grade: F"
This guy is being nice.

As long as Buh is still coaching the LBs we haven't hit rock bottom. Ask yourself why we've lost more LBs to various defections than any other position.

Wisconsin had one of the top defenses in 2012 when Buh was LB coach. From what I recall, Bielema was also planning to bring him to Arkansas for a good amount of coin. He clearly can't coordinate a defense, but I wouldn't discount Buh's ability to develop LBs if he has no other responsibilities. It's just sad that we have to pay him $500k a year for that sole task.

I really think that what coaches do at other schools can't be directly applied to the coaching conditions at Cal. I'm probably the only one who thinks this. I agree that it is reasonable to think Buh can coach LBs and I suppose I am willing to give him a mulligan. But the quality of play at LB last year was the biggest disappointment for me amongst a sea of disappointments and I don't think it was because Buh was distracted.

The only thing on the internet that could accurately give a recap on the season is an obscene Shaggy Bevo thread.

You are much better informed than me, how much of this was due to "free-lancing" by our LB crew vs scheme based mistakes?
