Sandy should have never let Tosh go in the first place and we would likely be in a very different situation if she had increased his salary or whatever his requests were and he stayed. That said, it doesn't seem reasonable to place the blame for what happened solely on Tosh's shoulders. I don't condone what he did and find it quite despicable as it really screwed us, but he was doing his job, and doing it very well. If he were to return and help bring in recruits and develop our student athletes like he did before would it be so bad? He would be a hired gun just like any other ace recruiter/coach and he would be much better than what we have had in his successors to date.

I read that this was very close to being finalized but Tosh asked for an expense account with $100,000 allocated to coffee and coffee cups.

And Mike Montgomery should hire Bozeman as an assistant coach to help with recruiting, and we should start an elementary reading and basic addition and subtraction as majors to get the type of recruits that UNC is getting. If it helps with recruiting (we don't even care about actually winning or the recruits actually doing anything for us), why not? That's all that matters.

Fact is: the players liked him and his coaching.

You forget the two classes he built his rep on, most of those guys never played for us or made any impact regardless of stars. He then tore everything down when he left, leading to the firing of the coach that got us here and then to 1-11
