My vote is: true. Two things shocked me yesterday: how good Seattle's D was and how bad Peyton Manning was under pressure. I know Peyton had a historic season leading to his 5th MVP, but to me, he just isn't as good as Aaron Rodgers. The kind of pressure Peyton faced last night is the kind of pressure that Aaron faces week in and week out due to GB's oft-injured and porous OL. I just think Aaron would have been able to find success despite the great pressure from Seattle's front 4.

I feel bad for Aaron because he's never had a chance to play on a truly great team. He's never been on a team like the Seahawks or even the Broncos. His teams are terrible when he goes down with injury and are contenders when he's healty. I just hope that the Packers can turn things around and surround him with some talent or that he finds a team that can.

Didn't Aaron unofficially beat this team last year?

Well, close enough. Except for a less-experienced Russell Wilson.

Man, that defense was just as fierce. If I recall correctly, Rodgers was very much like last night's Manning at the beginning. But he found a way to get down the field. And then he won the freakin' game -- again, unofficially.

At least he's won a Super Bowl. It's coming up on 20 years for you guys.

Peyton set the record for number of completions in a super bowl, which I found rather odd considering the Bronco's overall futility.

+1. I don't think Aaron Rodgers tackles Percy Harvin, is there to recover the fumble by the Bronco WR, center the ball to himself for the safety, or tackle Baldwin after he broke 4 tackles from the soft Denver defense.

Touting Goff's various statistics.

Rodgers might have made the game closer, but the Seahawks still win.

AR might have made a few plays with his feet outside of the pocket or throwing on the run, but otherwise the Broncos didn't have a prayer last night.

So many of those completions were stuff like 3 or 4 yard completions on 2nd and 10 (and then they failed on 3rd and 4th down). Completions, yes, but not very helpful. 5.7 yards per attempt isn't good, especially combined with two interceptions.

Depends on what kind of game Rodgers played. Just as the game was affected by the kind of game Manning played. Manning didn't play that well for Manning. Part of it was the Seahawks, but part of it was Manning didn't have nearly the best game he was capable of even under those conditions. If Rodgers had been the Broncos' QB AND he played somewhere close to his best under the circumstances, then it is a different game. But it is a different game if Manning had been the Broncos' QB AND he played somewhere close to his best even under the circumstances.

The Broncos' D had too many injuries to play consistently well. I'm still not sure how they shut down the Patriots as well as they did, although the Patriots O was affected by injuries, which helped.

You want a "what if" with Aaron Rodgers? How about "what if the 49ers had the same team they had in each of the last 3 years except that they had Aaron Rodgers as starting QB?" In that case, I think the 49ers have 3 Super Bowl championships over the last 3 years. They don't lose to the Giants in the NFC Championship in 2014 with Rodgers instead of Alex Smith, they don't lose to the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII with Rodgers instead of Kaepernick, and they don't lose to the Seahawks in the 2014 NFC Championship with Rodgers instead of Kaepernick.

Given the mistakes all the other Broncos made yesterday, including the D, they would have needed a HUGE upgrade at QB to win that game. The upgrade the 49ers needed to win the games that knocked them out each of the last three years was pretty small. Rodgers would have been enough.

Of course, it is all silly, pointless fantasy that we can never prove.

True or False: We win the Rose Bowl with AR, Lynch and Mebane on the same team? Oh...wait...nevermind.

If Rodgers owned 22 Papa John's restaurants instead of Peyton, would he sell more pizzas doing the Discount Double Check in commercials?

NO Qb wins that game for Denver yesterday the way their O Line played. Ridiculous.

Smart move by Peyton to buy these franchises after the new marijuana law.

Before!

Peyton bought the pizza stores on Oct. 26, 2012.

The marijuana law passed on Nov. 6, 2012.

Broncos looked mentally exhausted to me last night. Seattle D too fast. Too many expectations to win it for Peyton. And the crowd noise level was completely unexpected, clearly.

But fundamentally the speed of that Seattle D was intimidating, I never saw Peyton hold the ball so long all season--explains all the dump offs and the "meaningless" completion stat.

False. The Broncos lost this game for many more reasons than the QB play. If Jesus were playing QB for Denver, they still would have lost.

But to answer the question, Rodgers with THAT Broncos team? Yes I think better odds to win.

You have to consider that special teams TD, nothing to do with Rodgers, so that's automatically Rodgers +7

Maybe, but then the douche who owns papa johns, the guy peyton makes the commercials with. Well he went on record, he was cutting employee hours so he wouldn't have to pay for their health insurance under Obama care. Hs business suffered greatly, your everyday American, decided to boycott the greedy ahole's business. The franchisee holder, who make their own decisions, also suffered because of this loutish move.
