Mack, Barr or Watkins, and then Foles in a later round. I like manziel, and respect what he did two years in a row against Alabama, but he will get hurt in the NFL. Vick is bigger and faster, but he got hurt. manziel also lacks the arm strength of other QBs. schaub is a definite upgrade even if he had a horrible year last season. With all,the other changes I see the possibility of an 8-8 season. Gee that sound a lot like Cal.

Sounds like a Raider pick, which means he will be a bust.

Speaking of the Raiders, the word on the street is that they're signing MJD. Interesting move. I guess they don't see Run DMC as a long term option.

Foles?
Do you mean Fales as in former SJS QB David Fales?

There are 3 under valued QBs I like for either bay area team
Fales San Jose St.
Guiton Ohio St.
McCarren Alabama

Nobody is really talking about any of these guys. The Raiders could find a QB for the future in Fales or McCarren and the 49ers should sign Guiton as a FA or draft him in the 7th round to give them some much needed youth backing up Kaep.

Yeah, I'd add him to my list as well as Taj Boyd as far as under the radar types. This QB draft is about as deep as I've ever seen it. I mean there is some talent that in past years would go in the first 3 rounds that aren't even rated in the top 10 QBs.

I understand that the performances in the combines and pro days has a lot to do with this. And I agree with the philosophy behind the combines, but I think it doesn't apply to QBs as much as they pretend it does. It will be another interesting draft to watch. Will the Raiders screw it up again? Stay tuned.

The Raiders should draft primarily on D IMO.

Oh, and his arm strength is a lot better than most people realize. Durability on the other hand is definitely a concern.
