as long saban doesnt go anywhere, id take being an intern for a couple years under him leading to an assistants position vs a dline coach for cal or UW. the opportunity to learn from Saban is the pay here and will likely pay off for tosh down the line

Many coaches would pay to be associated with Saban.

It's much, much better than the alternative for Tosh, being a lowly assistant coach at Portland State or some other non-Div. 1A school.

no bs the day before it(sunday night/monday morn) happened i was playing ncaa 12 online 1v1 ranked game vs a guy in SEC country and knew of tosh .. i said of course not knowing he is not going anywhere ... he replied money talks bs walks i was like Nawww if he goes it will be on terms to come back and maybe take over one day DC ?? ... oh well lol

no, quite serious actually. if Tosh has any coaching aspirations, then he's screwed himself over quite a bit. his old mentor JT will never recommend him, nor will donors pony up for him to come to Cal. he cheated his way through UW and Sark promptly ditched him even though Tosh was "cleared" by the NCAA. don't think any P12 teams will touch him. [and LA's already got their version of Tosh, i'm sure you guys can guess who]

unless he goes to a small-time school and starts anew, i don't see him getting back his DL Coach position anytime soon.

but sure, on paper, getting paid off $300k b/c your old employer needs to sever all ties with you immediately, and then moving a step down to become a recruiter at a huge football program is pretty cool. at least then he can play xbox and twitter stalk all day.
