Really nice writeup, and he seems like a kid Tedford should have been all over (maybe he was, and he wasn't interested, but nevertheless...).

Glad to see this kind of story come out of Oregon. It's in stark contrast to the story happening down the road with athletes involved in sexual assault (allegedly).

Looks like we didn't offer. That was the year we got Maurice Harris who was our only WR recruit of the class. We did also get Richard Rodgers as a TE. We had a smaller WR class that year in response to a "large" haul in 2010 with Keenan Allen and 3 guys who didn't pan out or even stay at Cal.

It was also the class where we were supposed to be set on the D-Line with Moala, Jalil, Scarlett, and Barr all coming in highly touted.

Amazing, a local kid UCLA really wanted and we didn't even give him a sniff ass far as I can tell.

He would have qualified at Cal since he did so at UCLA. Who was our wide receiver coach back then?

It was either Daft's last year or Kiesau who was WR coach for us at the time I think.
