It wasn't an accident. Couple that with his comment about "diversity" - He's homophobic or sexist or both.

its just bad karma to celebrate someone being fired. i think the time was appropriate and a change was needed and Sandy had her weaknesses as an AD but i think Sandy did do some good things and her job wasnt an easy one. Navigating Cal's burocracy and rich donors isnt easy.

Let's hope players will start tucking their shirts in and stop listening to that wrap hop hop music.

I don't even know you in order to attack the numerous posts you made over the last 7 years.

That said, I think this was some time coming, and in some ways a lot more about the new Chancellor wanting his own person. Not that it matters, but I have mixed emotions about Barbour leaving and her tenure (and was not afraid to say so in the past on posts you must have missed), but you can go over to the private board to read about same. The key IMO is picking someone who can deal with the changes that are coming to revenue sports and finances, and have the confidence of Wilton and Dirks to be more of an advocate for I/A..

theres a lot of posters with mixed feelings about it. personally im one of them. I feel like it was the right decision but I also feel like Sandy did a lot of good things and gave a lot of effort and tried to do a lot of the right things. as a fan of the program, i appreciate the effort, wish she could have had better results with the football program. I agree with you in that the move was needed, I dont agree with the wording of your post and aim to insult all those that didnt have your point of view
