don't care for the announcers either, but that was a pretty play call. Identified that Treggs was against an LB and used his speed.

ask and you shall receive. Nice play call, used the fact that we showed a running game to generate a 1v1 on the outside and used motion to identify which WR had an LB guarding him.

The longer grass could make a bit of a difference. It will probably make cutting a bit more difficult, and supposedly it acts a bit like soft sand and slows down a runner. But overall, I don't think it will matter much.
