The other Cal note from the game: Mychal Kendricks didn't play, and it was felt by many that the Eagles struggled on D without him; he is really a fundamental player/maybe the best Defensive player for the Birds...

Is he injured? Hopefully not seriously. It was nice seeing DeSean have one of his signature big plays against his former team. I'm sure he's hoping Cousins will stay at QB rather than RGIII.

$8mill/yr guaranteed over the next 2-3 years, he's finally getting his due after being short-changed for years with the Eagles, no wonder he looked happy yesterday.

I may be way off base, but the link below makes me think that he actually is making less money this year than the Eagles paid him last year.

Last week Kendricks was walking gingerly off the field with trainers, at some point. Didn't see the play or what he hurt, but I recall the announcers didn't sound like they expected him to return that game.

Over the course of his relatively long career at Philadelphia, his salary was nowhere commensurate with his worth as a pro-bowl caliber explosive playmaker, he only started getting paid decently in 2012.
