I was just thinking the same thing. From my seat at the game, I was closely aligned with the kick and it looked to go wide right before hooking in. This game was bad enough with so many penalties at the key moments of 3rd down and when a touchdown was scored.... If the kick had been missed but Cal had won anyway because of the penalty, it would have been fair to say that penalties decided the outcome of the game. The personal foul on the Cal defender for pushing the Colorado receiver who had barely stepped out of bounds but was pushing back in was one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen in football.

Yeah - that personal full call was horrible. PAC-12 refs really do stink. There was a ref right on top of that play and he did not throw a flag, but the ref in the end zone 30 yards away does.

Game over as far as I'm concerned. Cal came out flat and doesn't appear to be in sync at all. Doesn't help that once again the offensive play calling is just offensive in the extreme. Franklin is a failure at this level. He might have been good at LA tech, but he is too much of a gimmick master to deal with Pac-12 defenses that are fast enough to eat gimmicks. He needs to have bread and butter plays that work.
