Didn't realize the Furders refer to their stadium as "the wok" because how it heats up. Also sense Furd is on the back slope of the curve headed downward. They're still good but no offense, no QB. Methinks furd is in for a surprise of sorts.

1- Why do you guys stick with a bad offensive scheme when its obvious something has to change after 5 games?

It is better than Utah's will ever be.

2- Do you have any backup QB's? Why does Shaw stick w Hogan no matter what? Is he a good practice player?
(like we have a controversy w starting Thompson vs. Travis but that is a good thing. Seems like all your backups are big pocket guys that cant move besides Hogan. So you are going to have years of boring Offense.)

Hogan is better than any Utah QB I can remember.

Very few. There are high academic standards to get admitted.

4-Why is your stadium always look like its half full on TV for such a good program that wins?

Because you aren't looking very closely. Stanford sells out virtually all of its home games.

5-Why would a top 10 (team at the time) vs U$€ ever punt from the 29 yard line?

It wasn't a makeable 4th down and the kicker sucks. It might have been the right call if the punter hadn't booted it into the end zone.

6- Montgomery killed us last year. Is he having a Senior Slump or just a bad few games? Injured?

He's still kicking butt and is better than any Utah WR I can remember.

7- Who do you think will win the South? I am taking you in the North still.

And it is possible to sell out the stadium by offering $99 season ticket packages, then have 1/2 the people show.

I seem to recall WSU playing Stanford close the last couple years when Stanfurd was much better than this year.

Cal fans could easily double (triple?) the Coug visiting presence and out cheer the furds. I can't go myself but will watch the game in great part to hear the "Coug cheers."

What is amazing is I keep seeing pretty glossy Stanford ads for this game online and on TV--they are obviously spending a lot of money to generate this level of "excitement."

I found out my brother actually snagged 6 free tickets to the game. We'll have 4 to 6 people there, none of whom are furdie fans. Go Cougs!

Exactly, Stanford was just in the Rose Bowl (their second in two years) THIS year!

Cal fans would be packing Memorial for a decade. Probable longer--by comparison last year was 9 years after [U]our[/U] best season of the last 50 which culminated in a Holiday Bowl appearance and loss to Texas Tech.
