Coach Likens ---- Done a really good job with the receivers, one of the best set in the country.

likens sure did fix those drops from the NW .. i have yet to see a decent non contested ball not caught since then .. crucial to both their confidence as well as goff

damon and his staff are serious business speaking from a first hand experience that i witnessed one day at FALL practice team

Coach Tommerdahl has done well on special teams. More importantly, his inside receiver unit is much improved from last season and a reason why the offense is so much better.

+1. ST play has been much improved.

Likens is probably the most crucial position coach on the staff. He has done an amazing job coaching up our WR corps

ALL these guys stepped it up and deserve great credit at this point. From worst to first (even at this point) is not an easy task.

Coach Damon is a big part obviously.

These players know they can out-do anybody with the physical and mental stuff they endured/conquered. They deserve great credit too of course.

The whole group has been a great surprise to many after the results of last year, but is a tribute to the tenacity, self-reflection, belief, faith, work ethic, etc.

The TEAM is fun to watch. The feeling is there.

These guys are winners.

Look at the difference in Goff's neck thickness versus when he came in. He was a bean pole, now he's a man.

Yep agreed. Funny, his credentials were being questioned by some board geniuses last year.. The OLs performance this year shut them up

Harrington and the S&C staff have been praised frequently by the players.
S&C helped players remold their bodies, challenging them ... the players responded.
They came on too late last year to make a difference but the staff and players are on the same page all year.
Great hire by Sonny.

YES on Yenser...so many people here bashed him, but I love the idea that Cal (probably) got a real up and comer...I love getting assistants on the way up. Way too much critique here of resumes-a lot of good coaches out there that aren't "known"....

Yenser is doing well recruiting blue collar nasties.

It should also be acknowledged how much better the receivers are blocking this year. I haven't seen much from Treggs, but Harper has been blocking ferociously, every game. Powe, Lawler, Harris, and especially Anderson have really stepped it up. I have probably forgotten a couple.
