There was a point in time, years ago when I had the good fortune to have email/pm exchanges with both of them where they each talked about the other. Entertainment gold. Their opinion for each other was so low I would not have thought those depths could be matched. By the time I quietly ended the exchange with SO, I'm pretty sure my opinion of him matched 8285's in depth.

I think he felt like he couldn't post here without getting ripped (which was true). I felt that he actually tried to be reasonable, which I appreciated (now OTB and 8285 may take exception to this take I understand). I like opposing team posters like that (I think BellottiBold comes to mind), because it must not be pleasant to post in enemy waters. However, why people go to other boards to post is beyond me. I just would not enjoy that at all and too much crap gets stirred up even before getting to the merits of anything.
