The Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns just can't resist jabbing one other.

Wednesday, Texas announced it would be selling beer and wine at football games this fall.

Thursday, Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp was asked whether the Aggies would someday follow suit. Instead of simply answering the question, Sharp took an indirect shot at the Longhorns:

A&M chancellor Sharp on alcohol at events: "Our athletic program has not reached the point where we require the numbing effects of alcohol."

They could settle this on the field. Of course, that makes too much sense.

reporter should have followed up asking how it tastes that the longhorns (with case mccoy and one of their worst teams) was able to get scoreboard in the final matchup of the 2 teams?

f'ing aggies are a joke - we have our problems, but we aren't delusional about who we are (and aren't) as a program...
