I'm guessing beer will far outsell wine, though I'm sure there's nothing like sipping on a nice Pinot with one hand while you unholster your gun with the other.

Actually, does anyone know if the game has or will be cancelled? With Texas being invaded by the US Government, and the impending EMP attack, how are we going to play this game?

Go for Shiner Bock at least. Better yet, find a Specs liquor store. They carry everything, including some very good local micro brews.

The Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns just can't resist jabbing one other.

Wednesday, Texas announced it would be selling beer and wine at football games this fall.

Thursday, Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp was asked whether the Aggies would someday follow suit. Instead of simply answering the question, Sharp took an indirect shot at the Longhorns:

A&M chancellor Sharp on alcohol at events: "Our athletic program has not reached the point where we require the numbing effects of alcohol."

They could settle this on the field. Of course, that makes too much sense.

Help what? Help them prove the lie that alcohol makes everything better? And in a state where it's likely to see someone toting a gun in plain view of others? If it was me, I'd say "no thanks" and not feel bad about it. Sorry to be brusque about this, but I don't mess with alcohol. None for me, thanks. And especially not in Texas.
