I guess there is a lot of substance there, if Alosi did indeed kick Diddy's kid out of his program and showed a pattern of bullying. That is going to be a problem for the UCLA coaches going forward, as Diddy has the means, clout and motivation to push back. Mora's made a bad choice hiring a coach with character issues.

Now that Snoop is their rapper/recruiter in residence, they have no further need for Puff Dufus and his intramural talent kid.

My guess is UCLA has been trying to get Lil Diddy to leave to free up the scholly and Alosi is the point man.

Your savier than to believe this, right?

It might as well have said this:

True, but I also played football and I see how football coaches act. Alosi does not exactly have a good reputation, and I don't doubt that he's a total a-hole, and I don't doubt that he'd be even more of an a-hole to the undersized son of a rich father.

They don't need to resort to such a scheme to free up a scholly, they can take it and still keep him on the team, it's not like his family can't afford tuition.

LINK: UCLA Football Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi

Played LB at Hofstra for 4 years. NFL S&C coach. Nothing like a couple of East Coasters yelling and doing the pushy-shovy thing. Also surprised P didn't have a body guard. (haha)

I'm sure this is a Booth but isn't that the former Jets coach who got fired for tripping a player during a game (that was caught on TV)? Well, I googled and it is the same guy. Too funny.

All Combs had to do was give Mora a call and complain that the S&C coach was bullying his kid. Instead, the dumbs**t confronts a guy who could probably twist Puffy into a circus animal. Neuheisel wanted the money and he also thought that having Combs kid on the roster would attract recruits. The kid, regardless of what ESPN or Scout says, is not good enough to play D1 ball. Even Neuheisel admits it after several years.

I had not made time to read-up on the incident, but just did. I found this, which I don't think was shared here:

Another perspective...

I guess we can call Mora a douche but we can't call Diddy a thug? A title he wears proudly.
The things that touch nerves in here are hilarious. Deleting my post won't make it less true.

The thug label for someone like Diddy who lives in an upscale neighborhood really doesn't hold, it's more of an image that sells his crossover artist persona. Any physical outburst and he's liable to go to jail or face large cash settlements.

Living upscale doesn't change you. I'm basing my label off of his actions and there's more than enough prof there to justify him as a thug.

i don't know why your post was deleted, but i'm sure it had more to do with talking sh*t about his son than for calling his dad a thug.

Probably. In both cases of trash talking they're backed by facts. So, for the future, we can trash talk Stanford players but not UCLA. Hey I'm on board with that.

Isn't Brentwood kinda upscale.
Think it still is even though OJ no longer lives there.

Just deal with the hypocrites here...fighting them is like taking on the Borg. I've heard people call political folks they don't like or other nefarious celebrites much worse and they sail through. Douchebag, prick, asshole I guess are more acceptable than thug. By the way, the DA declined to press charges against that wonderful human being....

The LA DA is famous for not filing what other counties regard as slam dunk cases. OTOH, they have lousy jurors, so sometimes it is understandable.

Good for them. Given the amount of serious crimes being committed in LA, this would be a waste of their resources.

Yeah, I've dealt with worse! These boards are tame by comparison to the SEC!
The LA City Attorney can still file charges but I have a feeling they will decline also. It really is a shame though. Celebs get away with murder, literally, in Los Angeles. For once I wish they would slam the entitled crowd but there's no room in the jails and I don't think they have the stomach for it after OJ.
