Alosi doesn't sound like a good character either, a professional coach wouldn't have let the situation escalate and come to this. If an angry, pompous celebrity helicopter dad comes in your office to b1tch, you take appropriate measures to restrain him but don't let the situation escalate to physical confrontation.

I agree with you on this.....Alosi definitely has some character issues. With that being said, no one for certain...unless you've seen the video, can say that Alosi didn't take appropriate action to keep the situation from escalating. Shaggy....ooops...I mean Puffy....seems like a real class A jerk-off. My own opinion, Puffy came back to campus with his kid to stir up some $hit...regardless of how Alosi was going to act. There was no way anything was going to stop the way the whole incident went down.

Maybe it's a generational thing but I don't know anyone who would let their dad talk for them at age 21 and/or go with dad to chew out a conditioning coach. At 18 or 19 I might understand it but at 21 you should be taking care of your own business. No doubt Diddy is an overbearing helicopter parent but the kid earned the schollie himself.

p.s. still interested to see if that camera was pointed at or inside Alosi's office

Apparently it is now being reported that the kid earned a scholarship most solely due to dad's fame for whatever that's worth. This is getting to be a daytime soap.

Having met Sean Combs on multiple occasions, I am not inclined to giving him the benefit of doubt.

I will relay a story when I've the time. Let me just say that he and A Rod are two of the most unpleasant people that I've ever met. Just disgusting individuals. They both personify the old adage that "money doesn't buy class."

Aren't they or weren't they both married? I guess it can buy partners.

Hmm, when you have time to write your P. Diddy story, also let us know if you have met / have opinions about these guys as well:

1. Floyd Mayweather
2. Kanye West
3. Justin Bieber

OK, well I guess it's time to tell a story told to me by a former intern for Oliver Stone. He "interned" (i.e., went and got his weed and various other unpaid tasks...) while he was casting for "Any Given Sunday". Apparently P. Diddy REALLY wanted to play the part of the QB (that went to Jamie Foxx) and Stone was intrigued. However, when P. Diddy showed up for the audition, he had to turn him down as he "throws like a girl".

So does President Obama...I was shocked to see him throw the first ball...no Dad means "no catch" to a lot of kids-

So as one might expect, UCLA wants this story to go away:

You know everyone is going to go along with what Mora wants. So the video is critical with no cooperating witnesses. If they manage to suppress the video then you know everyone is participating in a cover-up. Will money and fame win the day?

Yes, nothing or nobody could have prevented the way this incident went down. It must have been fate. SARCASM

You know who would make a great Social Media Assistant? Okaydo! And it might pay better (or at least have better perks) than his current job.

If the deal was, we won't prosecute if you stay away from UCLA football facilities then that is a no-brainer win for UCLA

I'm not sure if I should be outraged or not if the case gets dropped. In domestic violence cases I think the DA is compelled to prosecute if there is evidence, even if the victim doesn't want to prosecute. In a case like this, which can be described as just a "fight" among peers, is it typical to drop it if that's what everyone wants? The problem here is the perception that some alleged victims are probably being pressured by their superiors to not cooperate with the investigation.

The key to the whole thing is the intern.

From what I gathered, Puffy didn't get his hands on the kettleball until he was removed from the coaches' office. That is where he grabs a kettleball and throws it or swings it at one of the interns. The intern holds the key.

If the intern plays it SMART, I think he can press charges and then settle this for $$$$$$.

If it was up to Puffy and/or UCLA, the best thing for them is to strong arm the intern into keeping quiet and have this whole thing dismissed.

Intern. Call a lawyer. Everything is on tape. You have all the leverage.

I actually enjoyed listening to Neuheisel on College Sports Radio. He represented a welcome relief from the host, Chris Childers, who is a "shoot your mouth-off" type. But today's statement by Neuheisel thrust him back, in my mind, to "Slick-Rick." He readily admitted giving a scholarship to little Diddy Combs because of daddy.

"When you're weighing the assets of what a youngster can do for your program, there's no question (being Diddy's son) had something to do with it for me. Justin is a great kid. His problem was his size. He's not big enough (Combs is 5-foot-7 and has played almost exclusively on special teams) to be a dominant player. Could he be productive? Yes. The fact his father was an influential guy played into my decision to go ahead and offer him."

I'm pretty sure someone leaned very hard on the UCLA coach to even take this kid as a walk-on. Someone whom I'm sure is in the marketing department, and whose cornhole now has the permanent imprint of Mora's shoe.

I was really surprised Coach admitted that (even though it was fairly well-known at UCLA). I don't really hold it against him in a negative way though. He was hoping Diddy could bring the program publicity and money. Didn't really work out that way but that's what he was thinking. Tedford did some of the same things here to offering guys like Beau Sweeney and RJ Garrett...maybe not for publicity and money but for politics.

Eh, Justin Combs was a 2-star on Rivals and Scout and a 3-star on ESPN and 24/7, worse offers have been made from purely a recruiting evaluation standpoint. There's no denying why you'd want to have a famous/well-of father of a player of course. I don't think it's unfair to take that into consideration. But if you live by that sword you should be prepared to die by that kettlebell.

Let's not lose sight of the big picture—that Jim Mora is a big frickin' douchebag, in this case because of his choice of hires. His program deserves this TMZ attention. But of course in Hollywood "there's no such thing as bad publicity."

Settle in and enjoy the show. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Last thing that program needed was a distraction like this coming from essentially a special teams player and third string db. This is gonna get real good.

It might as well have said this:

Quote:

"Justin has been bullied for nearly three years," said [Combs's publicist].
