Hell Bears fans I just wanted to share my thoughts on the game and why I think our dawgs will run away from this one.


1. Jake "KILLA COBRA" Browning - He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has four years of starting in high shcool under his belt and he will do everything possible to win the game.

2. Offensive Line - We average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Dexter Cochlear, Mr. Brostek, Vita Virta, Connor Shelton, Ossai, Trey Tufunguy, Jimmy, etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.

3. Kwitkawasaki - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between the guy before and this guy, we will see a much improved defense on the day of the game.

4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest our team has been in a long time. Doeontae Cooper, "EZ Ike" Turner, Johnson, Honey Beaver, Cooper, Charlie McClutchins, John Ross III, etc. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that we haven't had in past seasons, which is speed.

5. Time of Possession - I think we can dominate the time of possession stat. The more we can shorten the game and keep our offense off of the field, the better chance we have to win the game.



I think UW wins rather easily...say 34-17?

Definitely sounds like a Washington fan.

Your first point is that Browning is the best player on the field. Your last point is that the more you can shorten the game and keep your offense off the field, the better chance you will have. We're just simple folk here on Bearinsider so I'm not sure we have the intellect to respond to a truly profound post like that.

No point. UW's QB started for four years in high school. Our third-year Pac 12 starting QB whose broken every school record doesn't hold a candle to this guy.
And they have a new defensive scheme that they players speak highly of. If only Cal had a new defensive scheme our players all agree is much improved.
I do feel Honey Beaver should be given serious consideration for the All Name Team. It would be even more awesome if that was the name of a UW cheerleader and not a football player, but still a keeper.

Cobra is legit guys. He can strike with the quick hitters to really rip it. I predict the CAL defense is going to be shredded. I may even go as far as to say that he could end up bein one of the Heismen contenders when it is all said and done.

Either way though, it's interesting.

And John Ross III is redshirting w/ an injury so his speed won't hurt us!

Holy cow, I've never seen a college football player with a killer HS highlight film. That's amazing! I'm calling the coach - we should just forfeit the game now and use the extra week to get healthy for Wazzou.

If you wanted a serious conversation, you don't come in with your freshman is the best player on the field when the other team has the guy that most are predicting to be the #1 QB drafted. There is an intelligent argument to be made for a husky win. You didn't make it.
