What's more shocking: That my wife is posting on this website, or that she has been posting on here since 2008, the year before we met and has almost 13,000 posts?

What's her hourly billing rate?

You: Make a false, blanket claim.
Others: Prove you wrong.
You: NOT GOOD ENOUGH

GO back and read the thread.

WHAT CLAIM DID I MAKE?

I posted a picture of R RODGERS obviously at the game.

Then I pointed out that the tweet was from.... two thousand and eleven. LOL. I mean really?

Though it wasn't his claim, here was the claim made:

"He has NEVER represented for Cal, either before or after the Tedford firing."

That was proven false. When it was proven false, Dbearson said, "lol you had to pull a tweet from 2011?"

+1

I feel like both DBearson and Cal88 have an agenda against Aaron Rodgers based on something other than Aaron Rodgers saying "Butte College" instead of Cal.

Mention us in interviews or on your own radio show

...

Show up with Cal gear in public.

To the first point above, he did (when he had a radio show, which he doesn't anymore), and to the second point, he has and still does.

it surely wasn't my claim

that blanket statement is wack

it's kind of irrelevant..is it not?

I corrected that in a later post. The claim was "NEVER" - 2011 is certainly...ever.

You seem to have problems following a thread.

Someone else said that Aaron Rodgers never repped Cal, even before Tedford was fired.

That statement was proven wrong. But since Tedford was fired in 2012, obviously to prove that statement wrong, one would have to post a tweet or quote from 2012 or earlier.

Get it now?

Seriously, the op was egging people on. There are some on this board who feel rear ended by AR for not representing CAL. Who the f_ cares?

All the announcers and analysts (esp Gruden) are promoting the fact he last played at CAL (not so much Butte, in reality). They are doing the job. You know the guy was os focus on beating the Niners right? He won't say it but you know he badly wanted to beat them on Sunday that he could give a 2 f_k about coming to a game.

Richard was at the game. I saw him, as did wifeisafurd.

For the posters that believe that Aaron does not read these posts, I agree. However, his brother certainly does and tells him about it. Guess who tells him about John Edward II on ESPN2? If any of you are in San Diego, the drink is on me served by the third of the four gospels. I love the pick-up basketball games off Lomas Santa Fe.

I understand Aaron is upset that Tedford was fired, but if he spoke with Tedford regarding the truth of the firing and the behind-the-scenes aspects, the level of discontent is subjective and unreasonable (how's that grandma lawyer?).

If Aaron completely understood the background of our fanbase, he would not act in this fashion (unless, however, he is vicariously living as Favre v. Packers with the Golden Bears).

AR just likes to f*ck with people, including us. I like that.

I recall he also made references to "hold the rope" and a shout out to Kevin Parker during his radio show before this season started. As much as he wants, can't take the bear out of him.

Maybe if he'd actually gotten a degree here, he'd feel differently.

I care, because AR on the sidelines would have a very noticeable impact on recruiting. It would have been an important asset to have him as an active part of the Cal brand rather than a lukewarm past association. I don't think you can really dismiss that.

I misspoke. It would have been great if he had shown up yesterday with Richard Rodgers. But since he didn't, and since he's done so little to rep Cal, I couldn't care less whether or not he shows up in the future.

After reading this thread I realize I'm in the minority here.

I am happy that AR is a Cal alum.
I am happy that AR played FB at Cal.
I am happy that AR (and other Cal alums) is doing so well in the NFL
I hope AR (and the other Cal alums) continues to do well in the NFL.
I am sorry that AR (or any other Cal alums) appears to have lost his connection to Cal.
I hope that in time AR (and the other disconnected Cal alums) regain their connection to Cal as time passes and they gain a different perspective.

But that said, I really don't care much about what AR does or says as long as he is not insulting Cal and does not go all "Tosh Lupoi" on Cal.
I really care about Cal alums that love Cal and keep giving back to Cal, Joe Kapp, Mike Pawlawski, Marshawn Lynch, Steve Bartkowski and many many more. For the moment AR is not on that list.
