If you are going to make a sign ripping someone's intelligence THAN you better get the spelling and grammar right. This is why I don't rip on other people. Subject A helped me a lot but once you're a bonehead English student it's always in the back of your mind.

Yeah, I only got the reference because I have a fair number of Mormon friends, but still figured this joke wasn't going to fly so well. Remind me again, how this is possibly funny in any context? Not offensive, just not funny.

I'm not normally one to jump on the "offensive" bandwagon--I still think a thug is just a bad guy--but the Marshawn comment even struck me as thinly veiled racism. Once you get to the word "than" on the sign, you realize what sort of person you're dealing with, and it's time to move on. Great that Ute fans were embarrassed by one of their own, though. Now, when Game Day comes to Berkeley...

Yeah I saw that and was pissed. It's not funny and makes the assumption that who he is and where he is from determines his intelligence. Not only is it a bigoted and uninformed conclusion, but it is totally irrelevant. Besides, Marshawn strikes me as both intelligent and smart.
