Is it just me or are these big 10 refs really resistant to calling pass interference, even blatant violations? It's a hell of a lot easier to play defense when you can maul the receiver on every play.

Easy, except the punter drops the snap, picks it up, spins and tries to punt but gets hit by half the Spartan D and the ball pops up in the air to 2nd string DB who runs it with a convoy back about 35-40 yards for the game winning TD. Did I miss anything?

I don't disagree that the SEC has more athletes and more overall speed and power, but I was rather annoyed by everyone hyping the SEC up to be invincible. And everyone down south ate it up.

I was watching an old California vs Oregon game from 2006 a week ago. It was during the halftime report that Craig James was talking about West Virginia going to Mississippi State and crushing the Bulldogs. He said, "Are you kidding me? They went into an SEC conference school and smacked them around?"

Well, yeah! Mississippi State was atrocious that year. Anyone, irrespective of conference, could have gone to Starkville and smacked them around that year. That's exactly what I'm talking about; the SEC might be good, but we're not invincible.

I didn't like it at first, but our punt formation with Goff (and now adolphus) is looking more genius by the second.

During the Texas game I was like , wtf?

But then Goff had that big run to seal the game against uw.

And adolphus with a really nice kick against Utah.

It really puts the defense in a damned if you do damned if you dont situation.
