This is the same goof that wrote something similar around a month ago.

That's just his ongoing, "I told you so" companion piece tweet after lots of people jumped down his throat last month.

"...I was with the Giants through the 2001 NFL Draft and then became Director of College Scouting for the Chicago Bears. I held that position for 9 years and retired after the 2010 Draft. During my time in Chicago we were able to draft 9 Pro Bowl players and win 3 Division Championships as well as 1 conference Championship."

"The shake-up at Halas Hall continued Tuesday afternoon with the Bears making the decision not to renew the contract of director of college scouting Greg Gabriel."

Retired? Not renewed? Same thing?

"With Gabriel leading the college scouting, the Bears hit on several players, including Pro Bowlers Lance Briggs, Tommie Harris, Devin Hester, Johnny Knox and Nathan Vasher. During Gabriel's first seven drafts with Chicago, the Bears selected 16 players who started at least one game for the Bears in 2008.

"But the club's drafts have recently come under scrutiny, after missing the marks on high draft picks such as running back Cedric Benson (first round 2005), receiver Mark Bradley (second round 2005), defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek (third round 2006), defensive end Dan Bazuin (second round 2007) and linebacker Michael Okwo (third round 2007)."

Sounds like if he was still active he would be advising his masters to take Cody over Goff. No discussion about relative abilities of the O lines. Based on his logic he would conclude Aaron Rodgers is a horrible QB based on how he played tonight not that the Packer O line got their lunch eaten. He is a toy brains.

It's hard (if not impossible) to be a top college QB when you have a crappy OL in front of you.

I have no doubt he will be a good to great NFL QB, no matter what he does here at Cal. I just wish he just had a little magic and would make some plays in the prime time games. He still has a few chances left.

Again, the Bears drafted 3 QBs under this guy: Rex Grossman, Kyle Orton and Craig Krenzel.

One of them did lead the Bears to the Super a Bowl.

Yah, except he turned out to be 100% right and his detractors (well, mostly Drunkoski) proved themselves to be as stupid as always.

And then we look around this board...

"Hue Jackson for HC"...

Yah, Cal fans really are a pretty stupid bunch when it comes to major college sports.

Go Bears!!

I don't know how you couldn't have some doubt. That's crazy. He has never really had a great game against a great team. We just keep making excuses for him. If only he had a better coach, or a better system, or a better OL, or a running game, or a better defense. He's piled up nice stats against mostly mediocre competition. He's looked really good in the not so prime time games. Now people are suggesting that he's been given too much responsibility to call plays. They're saying the receivers just aren't getting open. Yet we're sure he's going to be a good pro quarterback. The most difficult job in all sports. He's not even the best college quarterback in this conference, yet he's going trade shots with Brady, Rodgers, Manning and all the other big boys in the NFL. That's a real stretch. I think he has a chance to be a decent NFL quarterback but he's got a long long ways to go.
