Or does everyone get the national feed?

I missed the Joe Roth documentary and had to watch the Cal hoops game online because I only get the national feed. When I called to ask why, they said they don't carry any of the regional Pac-12 Network feeds.

True?

The Joe Roth Story was suppose to be on 3 separate days, I only received one day's showing, which I recorded. I have had DISH for some time.

Comcast carries 2. Bay area and national. You can stream all and transfer to your tv if you buy apple tv. Gsme looked great last night with no drop outs, not always the case

I have Dish and only get the National feed like you MB. There was one showing of the Joe Roth doc on the National channel so I was able to DVR and watch it.

That's interesting. I have Direct TV and was thinking of switching to Dish. Living in Oregon I didn't want the the Oregon/ OSU feed. I called Dish and was transferred to someone who was familiar with the PAC12 Network. I was assured I could get the national feed and the other six local feeds. I haven't ordered yet but won't if only the national feed is available. Right now I watch it through my Roku, where I get all seven feeds. They are streamed and usually have a 30 sec to 1 minute delay. The downside is I can't TIVO it.

How do you get Pac-12 Networks on Roku? It doens't look like it's available there, according to Pac-12 Q&A I found.

It's worth noting for those who care (I know many don't) that the Roku solution is technically illegal.

There are a bunch of alternate channels listed, but I've never seen anything on them. All I ever get is that there's no current programming on them, which is basically how DISH saves bandwidth. DISH also turns off HD for several channels unless there's some event worth broadcasting. I don't recall if they do this for Pac-12, but they definitely do it for the Comcast Sports channel.

CSN has always had a hi-def option for every game I've watched on it

Post game shows go to sd after a bit.

Yeah back when I was considering Dish and they still had local Blockbuster stores I went in and they showed me the alternate channels for P12. It seemed like they had one designated for every region but I could never get a straight answer about when they'd be active and whether they'd be in HD, so I never pulled the trigger to go with them because they always require a 2 year contract. Now with the roll out of X1 from Comcast it's functional enough that I'll probably never switch to Dish. Comcast is month to month so I just add it when I need it during the school year and cancel when I don't. With Comcast P12 BA is included with the base package but only here in the Bay Area. Anyone outside the area would still need to stream most of the time.

What baffles me is people who don't use Chromecast for streaming P12. As far as I know it's the only option to direct stream (as opposed to screen mirror) the official stream directly from the P12 app for optimal quality and reliability. I've never had a problem with choppy or dropping feed with this method.

That's around the time of the event, such as Giants, A's, Sharks, or Warriors. I've watched postgame shows where it switched to a static graphic saying that HD was no longer available. I can't find anything online, but it's some text along with some balls. It's pretty clear they only use this for channels that broadcast sports.

ESPN channels are always in HD, but CSN looks like they switch a lot to save bandwidth.

We live in Morgan Hill and have the Pac-12 network with Dish; it wasn't available with Charter or Direct TV (Grrrrrrr.) Comcast use to have a plant here but never made it available. We are in our 3rd year with Dish and pay about $90 per month

I get DISH in San Rafael. I have only been receiving the Pac12 national feed. The national feed only broadcast the opener by tape delay so I wound up watching the game on my laptop. I've been wondering about this. The channel guide lists 5 or 6 alternate Pac12 channels, but nothing is being broadcast on them Can's understand why we are not receiving Pac12 Bay Area. Pissed off about it...
