Nope!. I have a cousin who played hoops for the farm boys in the 60's and I know a Cal grad who married a furdie but I don't know any CAL fan/grad who has crossed over!

On a side note, I'll bet you more furd fans crossed over to OUR side during the Tedford years than Cal fans deserting these days.

Because there are more Cal alums than furd alums (meaning many furdies have Cal parents/siblings/etc.) and becuase furd fans are fickle, as the empty seats at stanfurd stadium indicate.

My mom knows a woman whose son was on the Cal football team during the Tedford era (I believe her son played little or not at all due to injuries), who switched to being somewhat of a Stanford fan in recent years, or at least roots for them when they're on TV. She says she likes them because they're "smart" or some lame reason... I think she just got tired of watching Tedford's teams lose around 2010-2012 which she always complained about, while Stanford was winning. I think any winning team has about 50% fair weather fans typically. Like Giants fans suddenly started outnumbering A's fans in the East bay starting in 2009. Or for so many years, all the USC fans or people who wear USC gear, but went to college somewhere else.

There is a poster on the Cardboard named OutsiderFan who I remember used to post on the old BI Scout site.

I was born and raised within walking distance of Stanford. Both parents are alum, and we grew up w season tix. I work in Palo Alto. I live with a doctor who works at the hospital, and has two Furd degrees. I am intimately aware of how much better Cal is than Stanford. Go Bears
