It's 2007 all over again! I'll admit that was actually a fun bowl despite how disappointing that season was. Not sure I'll make it this time though

Kevin Riley was a complete BOSS that day. I have no doubt that he would've been a very good QB in the TFS with his escapability and downfield accuracy...but oh well. Good kid.

Should be fun again this time around.

No, they went with the home town team. Kind of like how the Foster's Farm bowl would have chosen Cal if ASU and Cal had identical conference records, and ASU beat Cal in the head-to-head.

This should be known as the Missouri-reject bowl. Both head coaches interviewed and were rejected by Missouri a week ago. Maybe the winner gets a second chance to interview for Missouri OC job.

The website I was following made the same mistake. It showed Washington in the Armed Forces Bowl. 5 minutes later it was corrected.

Is Kevin Riley and Kevin Daft available?

Recorded the bowl show and could find nothing about Armed forces bowl. I rewinded the hour show twice. Did i miss it ? About where is it? Would have liked to have heard the commentary

Does anyone remember that running back Air Force had back in 07? He was a white kid and if I remember it, he had himself a game when we played them.

I think MANY people mis-remember the Air Force game in 07. Had their quarterback not gone down with an injury (Shaun Carney, if I remember right - and I think that's who you're thinking of, tc) we would have lost. Cal's defense couldn't stop their option offense. And yes, Riley had a good day coming off the bench - but not a great day. Again, Cal was lucky to have won - I was there.

I think it was first quarter but yeah, it was desean, jordan, and someone else. so we quickly fell behind 21 points

The payout for this game sucks. $675K. San Jose St is in the Cure Bowl in Orlando, which would probably be a lot more fun for the players, and it pays $1,350K. Cactus pays $3,350K. We got scummed again....
