That hits close to home. My father (a Cal alum) was a victim at 39YO in the late 50's when I was just a squirt. But the treatments now are tremendous. My father-in-law, who basically lived on a delicate balance of nicotine, caffeine and alcohol was able to beat colon cancer, so you certainly can!
