Pretty touchy, aren't we. Take your smelly attitude and user name and just shut up. You've been corrected, so just shut it.
And if you'd been around a bit longer, you'd have learned that everyone with "Jul 2008" join dates were here BEFORE that. Posting before the switch. But you wouldn't know that, would you?
And to the SPECIFIC post you made: "Too early to burn clock" looks pretty damn stupid right now that there's 1:17 on the clock after a LONG, clock-burning scorig drive.
You are a genuine a-hole. Seriously.
I've been reading "BearInsider" and it's many forms since its inception. So don't pretend for a second that you know more about this place, or more about Cal football than me. But even if I hadn't been here for that long...using a "post count" as some sort of sword to show that your point is more valid than mine is simply douchebaggery at its finest. YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT. And nobody cares about your 683 posts. Sorry 685 now.
And no, just because Cal was ABLE to run the clock to end the game does not mean I was wrong. Having a good result does not mean that the strategy is always correct. Surely you are intelligent enough to know the difference.... Tell me the last time that THIS Cal team was able to run the ball for over 7 minutes at the end of the game to seal a victory. I'd like to know...
My point is, and still is, the same. I would have gone for more points if I was Dykes. If Cal went 3 and out because they couldn't run it, then we'd be watching Air Force kick an onside kick and praying that they don't score another TD and a 2 point conversion.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Bears' ability to run the clock at the end of the game. They did a great job.
I'm thoroughly unimpressed by you.
