Why would anyone EVER do a QB sneak with Jared Goff? I love the guy, but he is slow, a fumbler and also you just cannot take a chance on him getting hurt....

You have a very short memory.
Goff did a designed QB draw up the middle in the previous game at ASU that netted a 2 point conversion. The difference in the game, as it turns out.
Goff also had a designed run on 4th down that surprised the Huskies in Seattle late in the game to preserve the win there too.
Duh.

Okay, at the time of this post we had a 7 point lead and after the botched fake kick we failed to score on the drive, so way to comment out of context. Based on your inane drivel on the other thread, I will now leave this thread and not return.
This was the low point of the game for us and afterwards we were solid and Goff was spectacular, so I am a happy Cal fan and will enjoy the victory.

I was watching the game at a bar sitting next to a guy who coaches high school football.
Just before the Goff run ( where he almost fumbled ), the guy says; they're dropping back in coverage, run Goff. And thats what they did. Good play, poor execution.
As for the fake Field Goal, I have no problem with it. Not a bad call, just poor execution.
Thankfully, there was a lot of great execution.
