Good that we're in competition for top players. Peeler is busy.
Cal dumping "seniority" in favor of competition for positions is in our favor.
No mention of academics or education, just "the league" but that's okay for now.

A possible over-simplification from his "I just want to play" quote: Gilliam wins the job, he isn't coming. Forrest would make him 50-50, and if Rubenzer wins the job, there would be a decent chance.

Brennan was set to visit Wisconsin but the Badgers just got a commitment from another QB. This may help us.

The coattails of Jared Goff and an offensive scheme focused on the QB. If Cal can be a top tier team (7 wins plus), Cal s/b attractive to top QB recruits.
