There's a difference between him saying there "should be no turnover" vs. there "will be no turnover."

What else is he going to say besides there "should be no turnover," whether or not there will be any.

MB - no need to get worked up. If Sonny made some coaching changes a bunch of posters here would bemoan the lack of continuity.

After knowing sonny wanted aranda. Then hires Jones and Lovett we will fine

We will know more after signing day I'm sure. No point in dropping a coach at this point.

I'd keep commits some what in the loop ...but that would be all in house the public does Not need to know

I wonder if this announcement has been done solely to allow a coach who is asked to leave to say that his leaving the team is voluntary.

We shall see although I thought coaches pay varied from low 100,000 to 220k for Garrett and tomerdahl

at the minimum, even if he kept every around, i sure as hell hope not everyone is getting equal % increases just bc we have $500k more to work with for 2016. also, Dykes may never fire his buddy, but at the same time, i hope Dykes is aware of his market value and pay him accordingly. worst case is if no changes are made, and he overpays guys like Tommerdahl instead of using the extra $ to attract new talent.

biggest salary increases deserve to be Jones (OL development & OL recruitment class) & Peeler (recruitment) imo

Our special teams has really been inept over the past three years, this really disappoints me. We were 116 out of 128 among all teams in special teams efficiency in 2015.

Yeah, but we knew that's what we were getting. Indeed, it takes a full year after coming back to get up to speed. This is why BYU has a bunch of 24 yr olds on their roster.

Didn't Dykes say at the beginning of the season that special teams would be hurt by an abundance of youth?
That being said the head coach has as much responsibility as the special teams coach to the performance because the HC determines who us available and amount of time spent during practice on ST
Everyone on these boards called for Alamars head, how many BCS bowls has he been in since leaving Cal? He seems to be a much better special teams coach working undef Shaw than Tedford
