Right a way this kind of article makes you think - Why? Is college only about the money and not the life experience that impacts the rest of your existence?
Still I was hooked and had to check it out, and at #22 was a UC Campus with some pretty dismal reported earnings potential for it's graduates.

Immediately I questioned the accuracy of the whole premise as the data compiler obviously was a little weak on fact checking when it was stated that UC Santa Cruz was the second
oldest campus in the UC system. Santa Cruz opened when I was a HS senior; I never considered it an option as it didn't have an engineering department (or a football team:p).
Still the reported earnings of it's graduates six and ten years out is pretty poor. If that campus a 'failed concept' or just bad fact checking?
