Let's face it folks we are getting killed by Stanford. I'm sick of losing to those pansies every day. It's time to make Cal great again. We're gonna put our Top People on it and fix it. You'll love the new Cal- it'll be great- maybe the best ever.

Nah, I'll wear my Beastie Boys licensed to ill t-shirt and then walk past all the stroller pushing wanna be middle aged hipsters in eagle rock living in their non descript post war bungalows. Remember, I was there before any of them were. Il also tell them that Glendale is cool. Pre junior grove.

BTW, I was hanging in highland park way before it got cool. Liked it there.

People in Eagle Rock have grown up and have real jobs and can afford decent housing unlike the Atwater group still waiting tables trying to be actors or playing music in their garages.

People said this to me for years: "Are you going to move to Marin or Lamorinda?" I'd tell them I'm never leaving SF. "Wait till you have kids..." Well, the second kid is due any day and I just bought a house in SF. Never leaving. Not everyone is looking to raise their kids in suburbia (I know nothing of Eagle Rock, just replying to the sentiment of your post.)
