Er uh.. we had pretty good offense with Goff-Lawlor-Lasco... But you do need defense to win.

Yeah - there is a LOT of work to be done on Defense and sadly I think again we are just looking at a BIG talent gap. Just not sure. I guess we are a basektball school.

The guy almost averages 7 yrds a carry and the O-line is not bad at all. We will need the D-line and LBs to play much better if we want to get off the field in that game.

It was third and two and looked like Watson got the first down though the dirtbag announcers from ESPN never said. When they came back from five million commercials it was third and 14 and Webb got sacked.

A combination of factors but a few cases Webb tried to force it to Hansen.
Get Webb off the field before something happens to him and get the backup some work
D is looking bad, very few pressures. Back end looks pretty good though.
I can't get over how much the announcing has no relation to the game. I've never seen anything like it. It's often like they are just doing their own college football radio talk show unconnected to any particular football game.
I say leave Webb in. He needs experience in the Cal system as much as anyone.
