that was an illegal hit on Saffle. Talk about a dangerous play
Saffle got laid out. Hope he's ok.
Also, Booing an injured player, regardless of what the stadium THINKS is happening, should be a 15 yard unsportsmanlike against the home team.
It is the most disgusting thing in sports. I dont care if some cal fans did it. Should have been a penalty on us.

When is a blindside block illegal? Is it dependent on targeting?
A blindside block in itself is not a foul. It’s just a descriptive term. It refers coming across at a 90-degree angle to an opponent where he can’t see you coming.
If the block is below the head/neck area, not with the crown of the helmet or not below the waist, then the block is legal. It’s not about the severity of the block, it’s about the location of the block.
Stay off the head or neck area. Stay above the waist. Don’t use the crown of your helmet.

Our Offense has adjusted worse than our Defense.
With a team that is all go and no defense, not going is a pretty big failure in the plan.
Our Offense needs to stop stalling after a dozen yards.
