I always like the Saturday night After the Game recaps. Unfortunately with so many night games these days it's rare for the Cal game to be over in time for a full recap on the show.

Looks like Zach Moss on 2nd down had it if he just kept going outside instead of cutting it in -- when I saw it live I thought he was going to just going to jog into the end zone. He saw Franklin there but he was engaged with a receiver.

Whittingham definitely was pointing at a blocker saying, "that's on you!"

Looks like the RB ran the wrong play on the last play. The left guard pulled and went to the right, I assume Shine was supposed to follow him and run right. Instead, with the left guard vacated, he ran into a wall of defenders.

First and goal from the 2, does it look like the reason moss bounced it outside was because #1 Devante Downs busted through a hole ready to annihilate him? Instead he bounced outside and Downs chased him all the way down and pushed Vanderbilt #7 in the back to ensure they didn't fall into the endzone. Just me?

I don't know. Franklin is engaged with a blocker, but he's still a body in space. If the RB keeps going wide, then he has to cut AROUND those guys, which probably slows him up enough to let the rest of the defense catch up and prevent him from reaching the pylon. Mostly this is just really well-played by Cal's defense (shockingly so).

Yup, I think that's what Whittingham was upset with one of his players about (the "That's on you!" remarks). Looks like he's pointing at the lineman who pulled. Most likely he had the wrong play in his head and was supposed to stay put, not pull to the right.
