Should these coaches be held to account for allowing an injured player, obviously limping, back in the game?

Tre Watson Out For Season With Lower Body Injury
Cal senior running back Tre Watson will miss the rest of the season with a lower body injury.
Watson limped off the field after taking a low hit in the first quarter of Saturday's win over Weber State. He returned for one play in the second quarter, but again had to be helped off the field, and this time did not return.
The Corona, CA native has not used a redshirt year and hinted on Twitter that he will pursue a medical redshirt and a fifth season of eligibility.
In two games this season, Watson rushed for 83 yards on 17 carries and caught five passes for 31 yards.
In his absence, junior Patrick Laird and senior Vic Enwere will likely get the bulk of the carries at running back.
