Hey Cal fans! Looking forward to the game at Century Link Field this weekend (home of my Hawks). Wanted to wish you folks luck and give you some analysis. Here are 5 reasons why I think UW wins:

1. Jack "Cobra" Browning- He is the best player on the field, 'nuff said on that. He has two years of college under his belt, 4 of high school and he will do everything possible to win the game.

2. Offensive Line - They average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Atoe, McElhenny, Garcia, Center, Tanigawa, Palelei, Ossai etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.

3. Kwiatkowski - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between Kwiatkowski Year 2 and Kwiatkowski Year 4, we will see a much improved defense on 10/13.

4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest UW team has been in a long time. Dry Eye Cooper, Sosebee, Chonga McClatcher, Punter, F.S. Smith. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that they haven't had in past seasons, speed.

5. Time of Possession - I think UW can dominate the time of possession stat. The more they can shorten the game and keep their defense off of the field, the better chance they have to win the game.

I'd say UW wins this one rather easily, say, 34-17!

Washington has not looked like a power rushing team but if we play like we did last Saturday where we let Oregon dismantle us without any passing threat, then we will lose worse than last year.

I only had three years of high school when I attended Cal.
My public high school was the oldest west of the Mississippi
and nationally ranked. We only had grades 10,11,12.

By the way, isn't the game at Husky Stadium and not Century Link? Or is that where you'll be while everyone else will be at Husky Stadium?

I have one reason - you guys have a much better team that is well coached all around. I think you guys are the class of the Pac-12 this year, and we are still recovering from the Dykes' all offense and no defense experiment.

Not me. Any animosity I had toward Sark (I know that he is no longer there) and Tosh transferred over to Alabama. Would much rather see Saban, Tosh and the rest of Saban's crew eat dirt.

I don't root against UW as much as I used to. As far as I know, they are no longer covering up rapes or giving boats to coaches to steer committed recruits and dole out covfefe cups.
