WOW!! Lady Luck is shining on the Bears tonight with that rather lucky TD at the end. Impressed with that drive, maybe rolling Bowers out of the pocket is the answer, he seems better on the run.

VERY impressive showing by the Cal defense. Whatever the outcome the Cal D should feel good about this game.

Cal's D seems to match up well against Leach's offense. They may look a lot less impressive against Zona's run next week. But so far they're great!

Great TD drive for Bowers' confidence, bodes well for the 2nd half.

I think it's going to come down to the last drive, Falk is going to put together some quick strikes but we will hang on.

If I said befoe the game that at halftime we had -14 yards rushing and time of possession less than 10 minutes .... nobody would have thought we were up 17-3 .... turnovers and defense were huge.

Exactly. Can't count on holding Wazzu to just 3 in the 2nd half.

More points on the opening drive of the 2nd half would be very nice.

As with Cal, and considering we are a big underdog, this may change, but this is so encouraging with the two blowouts and then all the injuries we have. The offense is playing just well enough coupled with a great defensive effort.
