Berkeley's Pappy's Grill & Sports Bar has liquor license suspended after selling alcohol to minors

Alex has apparently sold the place. We went there on Sunday before the game, and there was an ABC change of ownership sign on the door along with the notice of the license suspension. The current suspension is indefinite, which doesn't really matter, since the new owner has to get their own license, I believe. The ABC's spies are everywhere.
May I recommend the Turducken burger at Free House. Amazing.oskidunker said:
The food was an afterthought. Never liked the place. Blakes was much better. No one wants to make decent food. All they want to do is sell overbpriced alcohol.
Yeah, Manny's was a slight change but the place was the same, same deal probably gonna happen with Pappy's since they only have 6 months to get everything straightened out.ColoradoBear said:Jeff82 said:

So anyone remember what happened with Raleigh's when it became Manny's Tap room? I presume it was a similar situation... I think it was late 2000's... it was Manny's Tap Room (with a sign that looked like a 2nd grader designed it) for less than a year, then went back to Raleigh's same original sign and all. I figured somehow the change in management was mostly fictitious and it was a way to scrub their sub-optimal liquor license history.
