If we beat Oregon, I am starting a "who will be the next coach" speculation thread.

we now have a winner for the most asinine thread...
By then it will be too late. Just the reality of college football 2018.KoreAmBear said:
Let's have a winning season first before we cross that bridge.
Since you admit to loving the University, the football team, and the fans, I posit that you too are a Cal Fan. Therefore, according to your own postings, you are also a loser.hanky1 said:going4roses said:
So are you a Cal fan or not ?
Of course I'm a Cal fan. I love the university, the football team, and Cal fans.
It doesn't change the fact that Cal fans are still losers.
People love to attack the refs around here. Keep calling balls and strikes, this community needs it.hanky1 said:going4roses said:

It started when Oregon had a coaching opening last year.
Realistically, the guy hasn't even had a winning season yet.
But we started 5-0! Of course, that also means we finished 1-6...OneTopOneChickenApple said:hanky1 said:
Cal = Only fan base in case college football that worries about losing their coach after one 5-7 season.
Actually I seem to recall a similar thread to this after Wilcox won his first game last year.
It reinforces my opinion that Cal fans are losers.
Didn't we lose Mariucci after one 6-6 season, and ended up with Holmoe?

I understand that UO offered JW the HC position but JW turned it down so UO went with Plan B --- offering the position to its OC. Apparently UO sees what some on this Board don't: JW is a good coach and could very well turn out to be a great coach.

what's this about Wilcox leaving?
You have no idea how well the Wilcox era will turn out. You can guess, but your guess is no better than anyone else's.GivemTheAxe said:wifeisafurd said:
