Is that without what happened last night, I firmly believe BB would have been retained. That game is likely going to be a tipping point.
The loss itself is not a big deal. Losing to TCU in OT in a two-bit bowl game is whatevers. We got a couple of weeks of extra reps. out of it. The players got to enjoy a nice trip to Phoenix, good lodging and food, and a chance to give back to the community.
But there is no way Wilcox, Knowlton and Christ allow the status quo to continue on offense. Esp. when the D could be the best D we've ever had in modern times. And no, getting a few JUCO impact players is not the answer by itself. The answer is aloha (in this case meaning good bye) BB.
