Didn't you mean Oregon? Cal beat UW and why is UW better? UW has a first year starter at QB, Oregon has a 5th year starter and heisman candidate at QB. And Oregon is playing just as good D as Washington. However, the Ducks have to go to Seattle as do the Utes.

Speaking of gods, BTW, Phil Steele has Oregon above UW in the north and winning the division. However, he also said Utah had a good chance of going undefeated.
