I thought to share some positive information about our Football team despite the disappointing loss to ASU on Friday night and this afternoon's bad news that our starting QB will be out for an extended period of time.

We still have the best record of any of the eleven California college Football teams. Here they are:

Power 5 Conference schools:
. Cal 4-1
. U$C 3-1
. Stanfraud 2-3
. UC Westwood 1-4
(Who would have thought, we have more wins than Stanfraud and UC Westwood combined).

Lesser Conference Schools:
. SDSU 3-1
. San Jose State 2-2 (with a win over a mighty SEC school).
. Fresno State 2-2
. Sac State 2-2
. Cal Poly SLO 2-2
. UC Davis 2-3
. San Diego 1-2

So, my fellow Bear fans, there are things to be still happy about (although they may not last, we should celebrate them while we can).

I hope Modster with practice reps can play like he did against us when he was at UC Westwood. If not, the coaching staff should call on true Freshman QB Brasch because the future is now.
