I think it should be year 4/5, given a HC doesn't typically have a full class of his own until his second season, who will be RS sophomores in his FOURTH year.calumnus said:

I agree, recruiting and retention is incredibly important. It buttresses my point, which is recruiting, and as a result, personnel, are important (arguably more important, given other many variables) in outcomes (W-L). And even though assistants do recruiting, the HC take ownership of his classes.
