I implore all true Cal football fans to watch the'93 Cal Oregon game I posted above. This will truly change your mind and you will fall in love with Cal football all over again

I agree it is one of the best Cal games I have seen.
When we were down by 30 in the first half, I was expecting a total blow out in the second half. I was thinking: just get some points on the board I don't want to lose by 30 or more points. That is just embarrassing.
We started to come back I was still expecting to lose by 3 TD's. But 21-42 is a whole lot better on paper than 0-42.
Then as we scored more I thought OK 28-42 looks respectable.
Then as we got closer and closer, I wanted the WIN!!!
But any way I looked at the situation, it was clear Cal would have to have a near perfect game keep scoring and we would have to stop or slow down the UO offense.
The long final TD pass from Barr was a thing of beauty. Then the pass for the two point conversion was also fantastic.
But even then UO was not done. There was enough time on the clock for them to get close enough to score a game winning FG.
Then the D steps up with the INT.
Great. Great game.
But not as GREAT as the 1982 Big Game.

2007 Cal vs Oregon - in Autzen. #6 Cal comes back in 4th against #11 Ducks, and seals the game when Duck receiver reaches for pylon to tie game with only a few seconds left, is hit, fumbles and Cal gets ball and game.

We thought this was the start of something and indeed got to #1 in the nation, at least conceptually for a few mins. The season crumpled, but the game in Eugene rocked.

Barr was calm cool and collected throughout the come back. A man on a mission. After he threw the two point conversion for the win he was anything but. Like a five year old with a new puppy! Dancing running and jumping like crazy.

Is there a copy of the Justin Vedder comeback against SC floating out there?
I believe I have a copy of it on VHS somewhere in my boxes of Things I'll Never Ger Around to Looking At Ever Again but Can't Bear to Throw Away

The turnaround begins somewhere around midway through the 3rd quarter, with USC up 31-10, when Petros has a TD run called back because of a block in the back 20 yards behind the play. Vedder to Douglas and Marcus Fields all do just enough to secure a last minute comeback victory, 32-31. Favorite postgame TV moments are seeing Dameane celebrating with his family, and John McLaughlin thrusting his helmet in the air in front of the Cal section yelling "OUR HOUSE BABY, IT'S OUR HOUSE!" Friend and I briefly helped escort Oski through the parking lot after the game because we didn't think he should be alone (SC fans who stayed the whole game were pisssssed)

Cal over Duke to get to the Sweet 16
Just watched it you tube. Lamond Murray could Go! and Hasse could shoot! Even KJ Roberts looked good. And Monty Buckley was one of my favorite players.

Enjoy! Stat sheet stuffer....long arms...impossible rebound and lay up by Kidd.

I watched this game at a bar in the Oakland Airport while waiting for a flight. Great venue and great result!
I was living in SF and watched that game at Pat O'Shea's (RIP). Great memory.

One of the most under-rated and under attended Cal games was the Cal vs. Arizona St. game at Memorial on a cold November night in 2015. It was Goff's last home game before turning pro. Cal came back big time and won. Goff was great and so was Khalfani Muhammed. It was a very exciting and high scoring game.

Another great Cal vs. ASU game was in 2011 in Tempe. CJ Anderson!

"Dude took more of Jason Kidd's balls off his head than did Kidd's girlfriend."

Great line.

Maybe. And maybe not.

This game:

I watched this game live as a USC fan. I was a senior in high school and had been accepted to SC (I know, big deal). My older sisters were Cal grads and I knew nothing about the school and just thought it was hippy-ville. A year and a half later I would start Cal. Watching this game now, as an almost lifelong Cal fan, I have a much different perspective. Ha.

I'm not an old enough fan but having watched the one Tennessee game in hindsight, I really like that one. Also the ASU game in 2015, for which I actually was a Cal fan by then.
